You may be thinking it’s a little late for that since the healthcare legislation passed. Think again! There are many sites like ours all across America. All polls revealed the overwhelming majority of Americans did not want “ObamaCare”, were vocal in their opposition, and were well armed with the facts. Americans did not fail to engage in the process, our Congress failed to listen to us. They passed a bill they had not read and they abandoned their oath of office and duties to their constituents by taking shameless bribes and buckling under to political coercion. And now we have a healthcare bill that will ultimately destroy the choice of the private sector practice of medicine and the privacy and sanctity of the doctor/patient relationship. Our government is now poised to replace a healthcare system that has produced the finest innovations and highest level of patient care in the world, with the bankrupt and failed system of rationed care as seen in Great Britain. Our Congress, which has mismanaged and bankrupted the two insurance programs they already have, Medicare and Medicaid, has taken over the healthcare affairs of the entire nation. Stated in another way, the Federal Government is positioned to usurp 17% of the private sector economy using the false promise of decreased healthcare costs, increased access, and higher quality healthcare as the vehicle. The recess appointment of Dr. Donald Berwick to head the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, circumventing the Senate confirmation process, proves that ObamaCare is indeed a rationed care model based on the Great Britain system. Healthcare is the vehicle to transform America into a socialist state. “I am romantic about the National Health Service,” Berwick said referring to the British single payer system. “I love it,” he added, going on to call it a “global treasure.” He routinely points to the NHS as the health-care model for the U.S. (WSJ, Thursday, July 8, 2010 “The Berwick Evasion”). Future personal freedoms and the economic solvency of our country are dependent upon it. Is repeal possible? Yes! There are organizations and individuals in Congress who are working towards that end.
